Captain Marvel offers us a second trailer, more galactic than ever

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the film stars Brie Larson as the superhero Captain Marvels and Carol Danvers. We'll be there to catch this one on the big screen, will you? It's a striking palette for Marvel, and one that promises a bold new voice in the MCU. Captain Marvel, of course! "A new Captain Marvel trailer coming Monday night, and hold on to your seats because Wednesday more Marvel goodness should be hitting".

The trailer, which was released during halftime of an National Football League game on Monday, gave fans a fresh glimpse into the interplanetary battle key to the film's plot. There's no official word on that yet, but we'll be willing it to be true with every fibre of our beings. "Skrulls are the bad guys".

There are also scenes where Danvers gets a peek at her file, with photos of her past life as a pilot, telling Fury that she, 'had a life here'. You can be strong in the ways you want to be. And while it keeps the mystery, it lets us know what to expect from the movie.

When Danvers spots what seems to be a smiling old lady, she greets her with a punch to the face, as this Skrull in disguise attacks in ways most old ladies can't.

Meanwhile, a Lannister lion - backed by fire - spreads its flames northward, until the opposing forces meet in a violent clash. The audience also got confirmation on Jon's true parentage and it was revealed that he is a valid heir to the throne .

We are also showed Annette Bening's character, who's been kept a secret until now, with the trailer revealing that she is playing a Kree who took Carol in and created a part-Kree, part-human soldier.

Look out for him, Brie Larson, and the rest of the cast in Captain Marvel, due out in March of 2019. Set in the 1990s, The feature is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
