The device is sold unlocked for GSM carriers, and, in the U.S., T-Mobile will sell it too, as well as OnePlus online.

Along with several improvements, OnePlus is rolling out Android security November patch with various security fixes. OnePlus has slimmed down the bezels around the screen, and the infamous display notch is now just a tiny water drop-shaped cutout for the front-facing camera.

The Oneplus 6T comes with a 6.41-inch Display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Things escalate fairly quickly soon after, with Pocophone next comparing what is arguably a point of contention for OnePlus users - namely the removal of the headphone jack. Indeed, there are features that the OnePlus 6T doesn't have that its competitors do, which could help explain its lower price tag. Prices top out at $629 if you max out the RAM and storage, just FYI. An 8GB option will take it up to $579. Lastly, the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at RS 45,999.

Aamir Khan gives Shah Rukh Khan's Zero a big thumbs up
Shah Rukh immediately reciprocated the kind gesture by sharing a picture of himself along with the Dangal actor on Twitter. Katrina is said to be playing an actress battling alcoholism in Zero , while Anushka is expected to play a scientist.

The unlocked phone is only available from OnePlus' website, but this is clearly the "better" version of the phone.

Once the device is unlocked, it'll be able to be used with other networks like AT&T and Verizon.

T-Mobile's OnePlus 6T is the shiny "Mirror Black" phone with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM for $580. Lastly, travelers will be impacted because the device only has one SIM slot rather than two.

OnePlus has previously hinted that it'll add wirelsss charging to its phones in the future, but the company's implementation of the feature isn't ready for the public quite yet. Still, at the end of the launch event, plenty of questions remained unanswered, even as sales opened via the T-Mobile store in Times Square. Not only are bootloaders often locked, but the bloat and slower updates make an impact on usability for us enthusiasts. To get the discount, you need to buy the device on a qualifying monthly payment plan, get a qualifying plan (fortunately, T-Mobile offers the best data plan), and then you need to trade in a qualifying phone. The mobile carrier is offering $300 off the OnePlus 6T with a qualifying trade-in.
