Apple notes that users who bring their faulty device into an Apple retail store or an Apple Authorized Service provider are eligible for a replacement display for free.

Same as with the iPhone X, Apple or an Authorized Service Provider will replace the SSD for free. This time they cover the iPhone X and 13-inch MacBook Pro.

On some handsets the display "does not respond or responds intermittently" when touched, the company said, and in other cases it can react "even though it was not touched".

Saudi Arabia to cut December oil exports by 500000 bpd
State-run producer Saudi Aramco was said to have given full contractual oil volumes for December to at least three North Asian refiners.

In a brief statement on its website, the company said some of the phones, which were launched a year ago at a starting price of £1,000, might experience issues because of "a component that might fail". Incidentally, the problem appears to only affect last year's iPhone X model, which is to say that both this year's iPhone XR and iPhone XS models do not exhibit this funky usability issue. In August, there were three separate Reddit threads where customers reported and discussed the problems they were experiencing with the display on their iPhone X including "ghost touches" and intermittent functionality. The company has launched fix programs to deal with issues faced by iPhone X and MacBook Pro owners.

Only a limited number of 128GB and 256GB solid-state drives in 13-inch MacBook Pro units sold between June 2017 and June 2018 were affected, Apple said apple.co/2AXkeEw on its website. Your iPhone will be examined prior to any service to verify that it is eligible for this program.

For the 13-inch MacBook Pro computers, it said an issue may result in data loss and failure of the storage drive. Of course you'll want to run a full back up of all your data first, because you'll get your MacBook back with a blank drive.
