Google will issue an update to fix Pixel 3 memory management issues

The Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL are the standard bearer of all Android smartphones.

Since their USA launch on October 18, Google's Pixel 3 smartphones have had somewhat of a bumpy start - users have reported numerous bugs and teething problems from the new devices, including a photo saving issue and a horrifying second notch. Android 9 adopts gesture-based navigation in which you'll swipe your way to the Recents screen and the app drawer, and you can even drag the Home button to scrub through recent apps.

Now Playing is one of several features that make the Pixel 3 stand out. Google has provided both OTA files and complete factory images that you can download for your devices. These include an app time limit feature as the ability to silence notifications just by flipping your Pixel so that the screen is face-down.
