Chelsea's Eden Hazard feeling wear and tear of professional football

Eden Hazard has insisted that he has "always enjoyed" his time at Chelsea, and the Belgium global is "happy to play at the moment" amid speculation of interest from Real Madrid.

The 31-year-old midfielder scored Chelsea's victor in their 3-2 victory over Derby in the Carabao Cup but is yet to make a Premier League start under Maurizio Sarri.

Maurizio Sarri is unsure why his Chelsea side are starting slowly in matches, after the Blues were held to a 0-0 draw by Everton.

"We are waiting for him with open arms", said Thorgan. But Manchester City are playing better at the moment, even if the gap is only two points. Maybe it's chance. But we have to be careful, I think. I've been a pro for more than 10 years now.

"But three matches is a very short time, so I don't know".

"I don't think so", Sarri added.

Torres has scored two goals in 12 appearances for Sagan Tosu, who now sit in 15th place in the J1 League with two matches left to play.

Future seems uncertain for Trump's acting attorney general
Trump repeatedly lamented that he would have never selected Sessions if he had known the attorney general would recuse himself. Trump told reporters he has not discussed the post with Christie, who he said was "a friend of mine" and "a good man".

"I'm very proud of it".

Everton's winless run in the top flight at Chelsea stretches to 24, but Marco Silva's men have now been beaten just once in six league outings.

It took 39 minutes for Sarri's team to muster a shot on target when Alonso met Willian's high free-kick with a thunderous volley that Pickford repelled.

"He doesn't want to clash with Chelsea. I hope that a match like our match today will happen in the future to other teams".

Pickford was more involved in the second half, pulling off a string of fine saves to deny Alvaro Morata - who also had a goal disallowed - and Eden Hazard, while Alonso hit the woodwork.

Since joining Chelsea from Lille in 2012, Hazard has been one of the most frequently fouled players in the Premier League - only Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha ranks ahead of him this season and he is feeling the strain.
