If you were hoping for Diablo 4, you're going to have to wait a while longer.

The backlash from the announcement can be boiled down to fans excitement and desire for a sequel to 2012's Diablo 3. There was, however, the most energy-sucking announcement of them all; a mobile partnership between Blizzard Entertainment and Netease to create a "mobile massively multiplayer online action-role-playing game" for Android and iOS called Diablo Immortal.

Diablo Immortals is now set to release sometime in 2019.

Diablo Immortal's storyline will take place between Diablo II and Diablo III.

Once a character and class is selected, players will be able to find and upgrade gear, craft new items and team up to raid dungeons for all kinds of loot.

The world stone's corruption eventually spread through its many shards until events led to the revival of the demon lord Diablo in the events of "Diablo III".

In one of the major highlights from today Blizzcon livestream, it was revealed that WoW Classic would have a release date in 2019.

There will be nine outdoors areas in which to explore and fight for the game's initial launch, and you can expect to encounter lots of new creatures never before seen in a Diablo game.
