Red Dead Redemption 2 Companion App Suggests PC Version Exists

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a guaranteed success for Rockstar, especially with the game's online offering releasing next week.

It previously took Grand Theft Auto V well over a year to arrive to PC, after initially only coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The discrepancy between biggest opening weekend and biggest overall launch comes down to the fact that the last GTA was released on a Tuesday. Beyond the weekend statistic, Red Dead can still enjoy the silver medal; with $725 million in worldwide retail, the Wild West sequel only loses out to Grand Theft Auto V in terms of sales in the first three days.

All of this contributed to a massive $725 million in retail sell-through during its first three days - beating the $500 million that Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 managed, releasing only two weeks prior.

Nursara Suknamai, Kaveporn Punpare, pilot Eric Swaffer and his partner Izabela Roza Lechowicz also died in the crash, police said. It cleared the stadium roof before it plummeted into an adjacent parking lot in flames.

Red Dead Redemption 2 may not be flawless, but its minor shortcomings are like tiny blemishes on a stunningly attractive face.

An epic tale of honor and loyalty set in the dying days of the outlaw age, Red Dead Redemption 2 follows Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive.

Not too long ago, files found in the official companion app for Red Dead Redemption 2 suggested that the open world western's forthcoming multiplayer component, Red Dead Online, would feature Adversary Modes and "seamless PvE". In the United Kingdom it was revealed earlier in the week that it was in fact only the second biggest retail launch of the year, behind Federation Internationale de Football Association 19.
