Virat's love gesture for Anushka is stealing the hearts

Addressing a gathering of senior diplomats, business chiefs and politicians at a special reception hosted by the Indian High Commissioner to the UK Y K Sinha at his London residence on Tuesday evening, the batsman praised his fellow teammates for their hard work.

Kohli and Anushka, who tied the knot in December a year ago, have been spending time together in the United Kingdom.

The BCCI on Wednesday posted a group photo of the Indian cricket team outside the India High Commission in London, where they were invited for an official reception.

India's most loved celebrated couple Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and cricket team caption Virat Kohli had once again grabbed social media's attention. While many quipped asking if Sharma has joined the Indian cricket squad, others snarled at the BCCI for allowing wives to accompany their better half on an official tour. For your information, the BCCI can not allow a player's wife to be a part of such a gathering, but then, considering Virat and Anushka's star power, we think a bit of leniency has been allowed here.

But her presence has raised eyebrows among Indian fans who are clueless as to why she is being allowed to travel with the team in the first place.
