JUST IN: Barcelona make final decision on Paul Pogba

Dimitar Berbatov has played down the supposed "feud" between Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

Zidane addresses the press in previous interview where he announced his exit from Real Madrid.

He had been linked with the French national team job but Didier Deschamps looks certain to stay in his role after winning the World Cup in Russian Federation last month.

Mourinho had the ideal chance to heal his relationship with Pogba after his fantastic performances for France in the World Cup but instead took a dig at the midfielder, suggesting he needs to do more to produce such displays at Old Trafford.

Reports further indicate that the World Cup winning midfielder is especially keen on the Manchester United job.

United finished with 19 points behind champions and cross-town rivals Manchester City in the league last term.

Turkish Lira Continues it Freefall
On Tuesday the lira recovered some ground, trading at 6.53 to the dollar at 0918 GMT, up around five percent on the day. The imprisonment of USA pastor Andrew Brunson has weighed heavily on relations, leading to a series of escalations.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are now gearing up for their trip to Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

It is understood that United shortlisted Zidane as one of the candidates to replace Mourinho if the 55-year-old leaves at the end of the current season.

Pogba, 25, who originally left Sir Alex Ferguson's United for Juve in 2012, has told Old Trafford executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and his team-mates that he wants to go again.

While Mourinho has since complained about his side's lack of summer spending after United failed to bring in a new centre-half, perhaps United can consider themselves lucky to have agreed a deal with Fred.

The Red Devils gaffer voiced his concerns after failing to land key players in the transfer market and looks dissatisfied with United's transfer activities and current squad. For me, he's one of the most important players, probably in the Premier League - he's got everything.
