Doom is one of the most energetic and gory franchises on the market and developer Bethesda Softworks looks to be upping the ante with DOOM Eternal, which was announced during their E3 2018 press conference. "Killing bad-ass demons with big guns in unbelievable places".
From what Id showed, it doesn't look like Doom Eternal is going for grand, cinematic exploration - all this scrabbling around is purely in service of getting you toward more demons to kill, faster.
The two talked about Mirkmire, a new and expansive area that will be added to the title, which will be available sometime later this Fall. He has some new weapons as well. Pain Elementals, Arachnotrons, and Arch-Viles are making their comeback in DOOM Eternal.

Oh yes, I said "players": multiple people can band together to form Slayer Hunting Parties, which should make for some deliciously desperate battles. Coupled with the grappling hook, movement in Doom Eternal takes the action to another level.
