The MGM Resorts NBA Summer League, Las Vegas was a great mix of promising rookies, sophomores and other players trying to make a mark in the NBA. LeBron led the league in minutes played that year, averaging 42.4, and earned his first trip to the All-Star Game. Before the game, the Lakers' Josh Hart was named the Summer League MVP.
So despite losing in the finale, there was still plenty to be excited about in Laker Land. Their roster was as stacked as it can possibly get for the Summer League.
