Taraji P. Henson can barely contain her excitement in this Instagram post.

Taraji P. Henson says she was utterly shocked by Kelvin Hayden's marriage proposal while speaking with Entertainment Tonight's Leanna Aguilera at Fox's upfront presentation on Monday (May 14), where she revealed the details of how he popped the question.

Henson who has a 24 years old son from her previous relationship, shared a photo showing off her new rock and let her followers know "I said yes y'all!"

She continued, "He started with the Cartier love bracelet BUT that was my #Mothersday gift and then he dropped to his knee and I nearly passed out!#sheisofficiallyoffthemarket and she is sooooooooooooo HAPPY!" She said: "I'm very happy".

Hayden and Henson have been dating since 2015, according to PEOPLE.

Taraji, who's a mum to 24-year-old son Marcel from a previous relationship, revealed the proposal was the flawless end to Mother's Day, which was celebrated on Sunday in the US.

Henson continued to put two and two together when she and her 2007 Super Bowl champ man head to the back room and Hayden gets down on one knee.
