Russian accessory maker Caviar is selling solar powered versions of the iPhone X for nearly $6,300 CAD. In fact, Apple Insider added that the iPhone X Tesla's thickness was bumped up to 16.2mm from the original design's 7.7mm.
The phone slated for Musk will even be customized with an etching of "Made on Earth by Humans", a hat tip to a phrase written on the Tesla vehicle recently shot into outer space by Musk's company SpaceX, the release said. "The solar battery makes the phone's style even more futuristic", the site claims.
The Plan includes a carbon foundation with gold decorative components and a battery charge indicator.

As first spotted by AppleInsider, the iPhone X "Tesla" appears to be significantly thicker at 16.2mm than its US -made counterpart's 7.7mm. The solar panels power a second battery in the Tesla that gives the iPhone some extra juice.
It costs a whopping $4,500 or $4,800 if you want 256-gigs of storage. The boutique said the project was inspired by scientists, technologists and innovators including Steve Jobs, Nikola Tesla and Elon Musk.
