If all that weren't enough, there's a new version of Overwatch releasing digitally on May 22.
It's official! The second Overwatch Anniversary Event goes live next week. Loot box shennanigans not included, I've gotten a lot of playtime out of it.
Last year's anniversary event introduced over 100 new cosmetic items but this year, it appears we'll have a chance to pick up old items we may have missed as the promo video says all event items will return. Other past brawls will be returning to the Arcade and will be rotated daily all throughout the Anniversary event. This year, deathmatch will also feature a competitive variant with placement matches and skill rating.
Blizzard will be hosting a free weekend of Overwatch on PC, Xbox, and Playstation from May 25th to May 27th. Blizzard confirmed that this event will bring the over 50 items mentioned above that include eight new Legendary skins and three more Epic skins as well as dance emotes for Doomfist, Moira, and Brigitte. It'll be released on 22nd May, and probably cost an arm and a leg.
Supreme Court strikes down federal anti-sports gambling law
New Jersey residents first approve a referendum to legalize sports betting in the state in November 2011. Nevada now is the only state in which single-game bets are allowed.
Overwatch's anniversary event starts on May 22 and runs until June 12. As is tradition with seasonal items, all of last year's Anniversary items will most likely also be available to purchase with coins for at the normal, non-event price. It includes 15 additional skins, including Legendary ones and the Origins skins that were released with the game back in 2016. Also, PlayStation 4 owners can play Overwatch online without PlayStation Plus during the free weekend period.
The Overwatch Brazil Twitter account leaked the Anniversary 2018 announcement earlier this week.
Legendary Anniversary loot boxes will also be available, which guarantee one, non-duplicate item of the aforementioned class.
