Joachim Low has extended his stay as Germany head coach and named Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer in his provisional squad for the forthcoming World Cup.

Joachim Loew has revealed his provisional 27-man squad for the upcoming 2018 World Cup in Russian Federation.

Loew has been in charge for 160 matches, winning 106, more than any other Germany coach.

"We saw that we're not as good as we're always told we are - and perhaps some of us think we are". "I think he has enormous quality and he has proved this but he was not in that form".

Reus, meanwhile, finally has a chance to play in a World Cup, having returned to form and fitness at Borussia Dortmund since his comeback from injury in February.

Prosecutors argued that Ortega was jealous of Marina Krim's life and lashed out in the worst way possible - at her children. Medical experts testified that Lucia fought bravely and sustained more than 30 nicks, slices and stabs from Ortega.

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and another Dortmund star, winger Marco Reus have both been included in the Die Mannschaft provisional squad.

"Marco is a special weapon, he has special gifts", Loew said of the forward. "I expect quite a bit from him for the tournament".

Uncapped Freiburg striker Nils Petersen is rewarded for a fine goalscoring season in the Bundesliga, but there is no place for Bayern's Sandro Wagner. Sandro Wagner, though, misses out, despite an impressive season at Bayern Munich and the 30-year-old has scored 15 goals and provided six assists in 34 appearances for the Bavarian giants thus far this term, and has also netted five goals for Germany in just eight caps.

The Germany's captain and goalkeeper, had not played since September and still has to prove his fitness ahead of the June 14 start to the World Cup finals in Russian Federation.
