HP lauches new Windows 10 Elitebooks, ENVY laptops, desktop with Alexa

The company didn't offer full specifications of the EliteBook x360 1030 G3, but HP heralded it as the world's smallest business convertible, with a 15.8mm profile and a starting weight of only 2.76 lbs.

As a smart speaker, the AiO 34 also comes with a massive soundbar with four Bang & Olufsen speakers and two passive radiators specially arranged to project a cone of sound at the user. The slick business notebook featuring NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics, a first for the professional market, according to HP, gives users the option between 1080p and 4K resolutions for its 15.6-inch screen.

Finally, there'll be the HP ENVY Desktop. Other features on board include options for Intel Quad Core vPro Processors and 4G Cat9 LTE. The Envy 17 also has an optional variant with a 4K display.

This week HP took the veil off its latest series of laptops and desktop computers, and in the latter category, the OEM welcomed a couple of new All-in-One PCs bearing the HP ENVY brand, one of which boasts Amazon's Alexa virtual assistant built-in. "HP would only say that the processor options include eighth-generation Core chips, which we're pretty sure will top out with the same Core i7-8700T found in the 27" version. Revealed today, the new desktops feature a more mature, restrained design language than you might expect from machines that have a gaming bent. It features up to 18 hours of battery life, 4G LTE capabilities, and active pen support with proximity alert to notify when the pen is left behind. The EliteBook 1050 supports up to 8th gen Intel Core processors backed by Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics and 4TB of SSD. It will go on sale in the United States in June with a starting price of $1,449 (approximately Rs. 97,900).

Nokia X price and full specs leaked a day before launch
Nokia X or Nokia X6 is said to be the first smartphone to flag off the series, and leaks around the device have been steady. The resultant screenshot was published to China's microblogging site Weibo , including specs, price and a front-back expose.

As of press time, Canadian prices and availability were not yet available. With up to 12 hours and 45 minutes of battery life7 this and all ENVY laptops and convertibles feature HP Fast Charge, which can charge a device to 50 percent in 45 minutes.

"The least-expensive EliteOne 1000 G2 rings in at $1279, but we imagine the price tag for a 34" model with discrete graphics, a Core i7 CPU, lots of memory, and speedy NVMe storage is substantially higher.

This device features 13-inch convertible with AMD Ryzen with Radeon Vega Graphics.

The Envy Curved AIO will be offered in two different sizes, one with a 27-inch panel and the other with a 34-inch display, both obviously curved. The news HP Audio Stream, allows users to stream their favorite songs from a smartphone to the HP ENVY AiO speakers using Bluetooth technology. There's no word yet on US pricing and availability. The HP Envy Curved AiO 34 will go on sale sometime later this year, while customers in the U.S. will be able to pick the HP Envy AiO 27 later this month with a starting price of $1,399 (approximately Rs. 94,500).

It is expected to be available in May at HP.com for a starting price of $749.99 (AMD version) and $869.99 (Intel version).
