Drake announces 'Aubrey and the Three Amigos Tour' with Migos

This probably means there's no OVO Fest this year in Toronto, but here's an excellent consolation prize: Drake is doing two shows at the Air Canada Centre, Aug. 10 and 11, with Migos opening. Drake will be joined by "Walk It Talk It" collaborators Migos and special guests on the North American leg through the summer and fall.

The tour kicks off July 26 in Salt Lake City and runs through November 17 in Atlanta.

It's logical fodder, then, for an energetic special effects movie - something Anderson's traded in for several years now. It's one of his big strong points. "It's on the level of like a Star Wars movie, in terms of world creation", he said.

Drake and Migos have announced a joint tour. Launching in Salt Lake City, the scheduled dates take them through 41 shows, with back-to-back appearances occurring in Toronto, Chicago, New York, Brooklyn, Boston, DC, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Atlanta. The tour launches a month after the June 28 release of Drake's fifth full-length album, "Scorpion", so expect some of the new songs among Drake's stuck-in-your-head-for-days classics. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Friday, May 18.

Drake recently released a music video for his new single, "Nice for What", which - with a notable assist from New Orleans musician Big Freedia - salutes powerful women while also paying homage to New Orleans' homegrown Bounce movement, NOLA.com reporter Emily Lane wrote.
