The film was in the works for the last 12 years.
20th Century Fox and Regency Entertainment released the first major promotional trailer for the upcoming film, Bohemian Rhapsody, and it's a masterful display of pitch-perfect editing set to the unforgettably iconic tunes to one of the most transcendent rock bands of the 20th century. Having suffered greatly without the collaboration of Queen, Freddie manages to reunite with his bandmates just in time for Live Aid.
It ends with their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock. They inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers.
Arsene Wenger: I'd be betraying Arsenal if I stayed in England
Huddersfield were fitting hosts for the occasion. " He gave a lot to the club and really loves Arsenal, so he would do it well ". Two planes flew over the stadium, carrying messages reading; "Merci Arsene, we will miss you too" and "One Arsene Wenger".
The short trailer - barely a minute and a half long - opens with Malek (a very believable Mercury) engaging with his audience dishing out his typical showman charm. The Emmy victor is known for the lead of the psychological thriller TV series Mr. Robot which achieved a wide commercial success.
Then, another disruption. Its director at the time Bryan Singer (X-Men), was sacked for, what he claims, looking after ill parents. He also looks a lot like Mercury in the video.
The trailer also showcases a medley of their most popular music and in particular, how Bohemian Rhapsody came about. Starring Rami Malek, Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aiden Gillen, Tom Hollander, and Mike Myers, BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY hits theaters everywhere November 2, 2018.
