"From Washington D.C., Florida, even here in Los Angeles, all over the country, all over the world, kids made their voices heard with the incredible March for Our Lives, and it all happened because you want to make the world a better place".

The actress attended the ceremony at The Forum in Inglewood, California, wearing an outfit by Calvin Klein, feauturing embroidered names of all 17 students and staff who tragically died in the shooting on February 14.

He said, "Kids everywhere have already made it an awesome day".

Cena wasn't the only star to pay tribute to the March for Our Lives protests. "As we saw a moment ago, the March for Our Lives demonstrations that took place all over the world today have inspired me and impacted us all in one way or another", Brown said upon accepting her award. "That is the true spirit of Nickelodeon and of course, the Kids Choice Awards".

"Thank you so much for this award, and to Nickelodeon for bringing us all together". Change is only possible when we all work together. Meanwhile, on the front of her denim shirt, the star emblazoned the words "Never Again", a slogan largely associated with yesterday's marches.

John Cena and Millie Bobby Brown from Stranger Things both provided comment on the march, with Cena using his position as host to open the show with a message for those marching.

She went on to say, "so there's an fantastic support, love and kindness in this room right now, and I want to encourage everyone to embrace it and to pass it on".

Brown spent the majority of her acceptance speech expressing gratitude for the support Stranger Things has received and noting the impact the Parkland survivors have made. But for the Kids Choice Awards, she changed up her typical red carpet approach and literally wore her support for March For Our Lives.
