Daughter Sets Up Father to be Carjacked by 2 Other Teens

The teen daughter faces aggravated robbery charges while her 16-year old male accomplice was turned over to Montgomery County juvenile authorities. Deputies are now in the process of filing a warrant for his arrest, according to the station. Harris County Constables were dispatched to the home of Preston Barry who reported that he and his friend Susan Mize had been robbed.

Mize was arrested at her home and has reportedly denied being involved in the plot despite not calling 911 to report the carjacking.

She was taken to the Montgomery County Jail, where she is being held on $75,000 bond.

One of them fired their weapon into the woods, which sparked a manhunt that appears to be ongoing, and the other male was caught in the 3500 block of Rayford Road. Drivers are also advised to keep auto doors locked and windows rolled up. The 15-year-old suspect ordered Barry into the back seat of the vehicle where the 16-year-old suspect waved a knife and ordered the victim to be tied up with Mize's shoelaces, according to a post by Lt. Scott Spencer on the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

The suspects robbed Barry of the money in his wallet, while striking him numerous times and threatening his life with the knife and gun, Mize said.

Barry tricked the two males by telling them he had more money in his home, according to authorities.

The Conroe Patch wrote that the suspects drove the victim to his home to get more money. The suspects agreed and waited outside while Barry went into the house, locked the door and immediately told his parents what was going on.

According to the authorities, the teen told his parents about the incident who, in turn, called the authorities.

The two teens let Mize go, fled in the vehicle and abandoned it and then ran into the woods. Police also revealed that a kitchen knife and two BB guns were found in the victim's auto. After kidnapping the teen, Mize and her friends drove the nearest HEB store, where they've demanded the victim to withdraw an unspecified sum of money from the ATM.

Susan Mize was charged with aggravated robbery.
