Clelin Ferrell & Austin Bryant returning to Clemson


The deadline for declaring for the 2018 draft is Monday and Wilkins said at Saturday night's annual football banquet that he was still mulling his future.

Multiple news agencies projected Ferrell and Wilkins as first-round picks, while Bryant is either a second-round pick or a fringe first-rounder. Fields (5'11/180) was one of four Tigers on Saturday - Clelin Ferrell, Austin Bryant and Kendall Joseph being the other ones - to announce that they would be foregoing the 2018 NFL Draft.

Four members of the Clemson Tigers have chose to remain with the team and forgo their opportunity to enter the 2018 NFL Draft. He was also named the recipient of the Bill Willis Award as the National Defensive Lineman of the Year by the Columbus (Ohio) Touchdown Club. A junior linebacker, he was second on the team with 90 tackles last season and was a third-team All-ACC pick.

Junior interior defensive lineman Christian Wilkins, a projected first-round pick, has not made his official decision whether to forgo his final collegiate season.

Fields, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound cornerback, played in five games this season and dealt with several injuries.
